Automatic change of region code from RU to EAEU
After updating your Keenetic device to version 4.0 of the KeeneticOS, the region code EAEU will automatically replace the region code RU.
The is a one-off change. The manufacturer's region code RU is automatically converted to the EAEU region code after the update is applied and the device first accesses the Authentication and Licensing Cloud service. The region renaming requires a subsequent restart of the device to take effect.
The EAEU code corresponds to the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) region. Conversion to the EAEU region code enables a device for a wider support area.
Note
The Eurasian Economic Union member states are the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.
